Suzy Fung
Suzy graduated with a master’s degree in counselling psychology from Trinity Western University over two decades ago. She has never viewed “clinical counselling” or “psychotherapy” as her career. Instead, She takes it as a privilege and honour which allows her to walk alongside with each of her clients encountering different and unique experiences in their lives.
Suzy is always open-minded in her counselling approach in order to fit with individual’s situation and needs. In general, Suzy leans towards a more holistic, humanistic, and client-centered approach because she values each person as a whole individual and hope each of her clients will make full meaning out of their fulfilled existence. For the past 3 years, Suzy went back to polish her counselling skills in a specific psychotherapeutic approach called Logotherapy and Existential Analysis (GLE-International), which not only enables her to deepen her professional skills in practicing clinical counselling and psychotherapy, but also enhances her view on the meaning of our full existence.
